This is a Hard Saying (John 6:60-71)

At the end of John 6, the crowd follows Jesus to Capernaum where he continues teaching. The message is bold, shocking and so offensive that he loses many of his followers. Jesus dared to look beyond their physical needs, challenge their expectations of a Messiah, and had the audacity to present himself as the ultimate authority … God himself. It was too much for some to accept.

We are all given the choice to accept the truth of who Jesus is. When we make that choice, will we stand firm in our beliefs, even if it is offensive to others?
