We’re a mixed up bunch of people. After a few short decades of Hallmark-ism, we’ve convinced ourselves that Valentine’s Day holds the secret to true love.

Roses are red
Violets are blue
Yadda, yadda, yadda.
Boring.

You can’t figure out what love is by examining Valentine’s Day—only Easter holds that secret.
