We like to talk about love a lot in church, but we often neglect an important form of love: friendship. This past Sunday we took a close look at friendship.

Using the friendship between David and Jonathan as our example and the five paragraphs of Ecclesiastes 4 as our guide, we see how important friendship is even for life “under the sun”. Here’s the main points of the message:

1. Friendship is important regardless of your situation in life.
2. Friendship helps us to conquer envy.
3. Friendship is worth more than money.
4. Friendship has practical benefits.
5. Friendship helps us to take advice.
