We like to talk about love a lot in church, but we often neglect an important form of love: friendship. This past Sunday we took a close look at friendship.
Using the friendship between David and Jonathan as our example and the five paragraphs of Ecclesiastes 4 as our guide, we see how important friendship is even for life “under the sun”. Here’s the main points of the message:
- Friendship is important regardless of your situation in life.
- Friendship helps us to conquer envy.
- Friendship is worth more than money.
- Friendship has practical benefits.
- Friendship helps us to take advice.
